I did have 100mbs last year - then fibreband wend belly up (I think the MD did a runner with a suitcase full of cash and left half of Bournemouth with pavements like the Somme)
Now I'm on 1mbs.. Totally sucks! :evil:

My dad on BT business broadband and he can only get 1mb, I have virgin media 30mb atm my speed test results say I get up to 15mb :? free upgrade to 60mg in July though :)

My gf has virgin 30mb, she's just had an email upping that to 60 :) shame there's so much contention, and the download limits are rubbish during a large part of the day! Guess the torrents will be scheduled for off peak! ;)

My exchange can do 20mb. I live less than half a mile away and can only get 7-8mb. When I was with BT they could only managed to provide me with 2mb. Changed to talk talk and it went straigh up to 8.

BT are a total waste of space. Our estate has 500 houses. When they built it in 2004 BT installed fibre everywhere. They then realised that no-one could have broadband and everyone wanted it. So we had a years wait while they went through the estate and put copper lines in. We now find out that instead of leaving the fibre in place ready for the future they ripped it all out. Proper Muppets.
