I disagree with you there...
Consoles are now getting to where PCs were years ago.
A dedicated gaming PC (not just talking about a ready made branded one either) is and IMO always will be superior to consoles. Consoles can be good but they have to be affordable and smaller than a PC otherwise they're just not worth it to your average consumer... and so that is why consoles are always inferior. Most people want something that's gonna look good under their TV, is playable from your couch laying horizontal, and without the 'nerdy' stigma of saying "yeah I play games on my PC". Consoles are for bros with swag. Xbox One, it's shiny and can connect to the internet and play videos and you can put a disc in it and have a controller. Welcome to Windows ME on your Dell.
I am a console player.
Not hating on consoles either, they're convenient and if you're not hardcore into playing everything in HD*∞ then for most people the PS3 or Xbox 360 will suffice.
I was going somewhere with this but I cba as already I can detect the feels of the great console vs. PC debate of 2013.
And Confused, I get what you're saying. Multiplatform games are always dogshit when they're 'averaged out' but IMO any dev. that doesn't release the game as well as it can be per platform is lazy and cheap.
