Black box between battery and suspension strut, what is it?

Post by bb1boy » Tue Jun 25, 2013 5:56 pm

As above: under my intake there is a little black box with vac hoses and an electrical connector on it, I have an Apexi intake which sits where my airbox was, the resonator tube things are still inside the bumper as I haven't got round to ripping that out yet. But what is this box thing? Is it part of the intake? There is a vac line coming from said box going toward the resonator..

Ah right, thanks mate, so do I leave it alone when I remove the resonator or rip that out too?

Rip it out too mate. You will need to sort the vac line out though but that's easy enough :)

Ok cool, that electrical connection being unplugged isn't going to cause a problem?

No mate just leave it unplugged or cut it off or whatever. No engine light etc :)
