what possible reasons for not getting fuel into the engine?

yh mine would prime and notfire,due to where it had shorted out the plastic on the connector had melted in to the plug so connection was that shitty it just wouldnt go,was worth a shot newayz.....good luck and hope all is well :)

checked over everything mentioned above and everything was good! had a look at my ecu and the connector had worked ever so slightly loose, cable tied it secure and it started! i quickly set off to go to Mr Gayno's, got to the bottom of the road and it completely cut out :( just got my dad to tow me home, had another look at my ecu and it is getting hot when im trying to start the engine :? just got a new ecu from ebay so we'll see if that sorts it :(

new ecu and re-soldered rob special chip and its aliiiivveee :lol: stupid car, if it pulls some jobby like that again im going to let the rust monster get at it :lol:

yeah tell me about it! especially for it to just happen out of the blue :?

just need to get my exhaust sealed now as the noise it makes is aweful compared to before the new mani/downpipe :(

Forgot you soldered the old ECU chip yourself, maybe the old install snagged a line or something???

Who cares as long as it's sorted. :vtec:
