Ever driven an MX-5?Merlin wrote:Bleugh, nastyThat and the MX5 (which I hate with a passion).
I think it's one of the best cars I've ever driven. Light, driven from the right end, incredible handling, not too powerful that you can't use them on the roads here. For pure driving enjoyment, I prefer the MX-5 to my Legnum - the Legnum is too big, too heavy, too powerful and too capable to have as much fun in as the MX-5, especially round a twisty B road.
The Legnum is better at carrying up to 5 people, or luggage, or more often, both...

I'm with Confused.
The NA MX-5s are a fantastic drive. Really easy to hang on the limits and a car one really has to drive
Really great fun for the back roads and the point is, they're not that fast. GT86 is very much a car in the same mould.
OK, I progressed to an S2000, but I'd still recommend the little Mazda.
I expect the Beat is funny because it's hilariously slow. There was a guy in the US who had one just like the one in the ad; he also had a matching NSX-T which made a great photo!
