they are easy enough to open up and swap the bits i opened up the old one last night to see how hard it would be the only issue will be the separating the rectifier from the regulator the little screws are a bitch

If it's advertised from ECP to fit a 96 4th gen, and it doesn't - then it's not as advertised - tell them to replace it with the correct one, for the same price!
