To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Ok I've replaced the existing leds with new canbus leds and now cruise control works with the lights on. B-) happiness is restored

There's a welded nut on the bracket, but the one behind the bracket (between the bracket and the main body of the switch) is the locking nut - you nip this up to prevent the switch from rotating back out of position.

Also, I've just realised that this is clutch/brake switch I've got rolling around in my Anglia's footwell that I couldn't previously recognise!

Well that's all good then, btw I've done that and now cruise control always works 100% fixed :-)
