yeah cut the sealant like you would when removing a windscreen. might be time consuming but the longer you take the neater the result :) once the lights are out you should be able to shave most of the remaining sealant off using the same blade or you may be lucky and it will peal off.

If you want I can stick a few very sharp blades in the post for you. We use them to separate double glazed window units (these are glued together using some rubbery plastic stuff that comes out of the machine at 180 celcius). Sometimes old people come in that have some dodgy lead design on their window but they've broken one pane but want to keep the other, we have some lovely sharp razors for cutting through it.

ANYWAY, yeah I have some blades if you want.

Can't believe some gentleman's sausage has bonded the lights in.

Yeah, I'd use a heat gun on the mastic.

If that doesn't work, turn it up to 11 and just melt the 'orrible f uckers out.

Just watch yer bumper...

Maybe a thread is needed for stupid things that people have found on their cars

Mine had some numberplate surround that was held onto the bumper by 8 or 10 screws, then the numberplate was GLUED to the surround, then had two screws going through that and the surround and into the bumper  it's pretty messy behind there but thankfully the numberplate covers it all.

Did the blades get to you yet macky? I sent them Friday but the post office lady is a sour rhubarb and always gives me attitude. Should've been next day.
