Ammo has brought his Alloys back from the dead - From PUK

Copied over from PUK

Finally got the tyres fitted back on my Alloys today after spending the last week trying to make them look half decent. I really need a new set but money's too tight at the mo.

My alloys were in a sorry state to say the least

They were right back to the metal in places so I had to completely strip them back to bare metal in order to paint them.

Point of no return, Paint stripper

Once all the paint was off, and that took a while, i was left with all the corrosion on the metal, so i had to get the wire bush out and get rid of all that before I could paint them.

All primered up

Looking better already.

The finished article

To go with my username they are painted Gunmetal grey, not fitted them too the car yet so not sure how they will look.

Not the best paint job by a long way but they look 1000x better than they did before.

They were done 6 years ago, so don't look like that any more lol

Really wanna change to smaller rims with a bit more profile on the tyres as the roads round here are getting worse and worse and 17" on PI springs and standard shocks is a damn harsh ride
