OK, so I slipped a bit.

Good news: I went out and tested whether the EML I had was just a loose connection to the VTEC solenoid. Seems it was. :D

Better news: I had intended to experimentally get into VTEC 3 or 4 times to check repair and then head home. Unfortunately the wrong bit of my brain got in charge and I had the first proper drive in a 'Lude. Somehow near Campsie Fell (Great roads north of Glasgow) I suddenly lost about 20 mins after which I found myself seemingly taking a breath for the first time. These things are an absolute weapon! :D :D

I'm going to put first driving impressions up in another thread ((Not! - edit 09.03.13) tomorrow) for anyone who hasn't driven one, but Hell Yeah! :vtec:  :D

(Only bad news is holding off driving until belted next month!)

I remember my first proper drive in the Prelude. It was good.

Might make a good thread, that. (First or Best Drive)

Funny how these things stick with you. I bet everyone can. :)
