no, it needs to be piano wire. copper cable strands may be OK. the reason i say this is because the heat generated through friction is massive and floss will be too week. copper wire could be a bit week too. fishing line no good either as it will melt. speak to a local windscreen fitter they may have some. you will need to get someone else to help hold it stable to stop you cutting through the lip.

Iv'e tried copper wire in the past to remove screens, which is a similar job, and it was not up to the task.

This will, but is a bit pricey for what you want, though a nice thing to have in the tool box..

Personally I would use a sharp stanley blade, slowly slicing vertically between the lip and the bumper.

only two

one phantom grey ukdm bumper and one millano red with eurobubble lip

i always use a large long blade craft knife to debond things - mind u dental floss might actually work - might try that next time

if your not worried about keeping the bumper cut the bumper off just above and below the bonded bit of the lip and use heat and pull it off very easy but destructive
