Does it still work on stuff that's already discounted??
I very rarely use mine as ive found that for most stuff, even with the discount, its still cheaper to buy elsewhere.
It can come in handy on a Sunday though when the motor factors are shut.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

I have a trade discount card and its crap, its not even close to trade price. its no where near to 20% I find that even with 'trade' discount, other places are still cheaper on the same/similar products at their standard retail price.craig_jdm wrote:if i remember correctly your in edinburgh if im right i have a trade discount card you can use in halfords i think its about 20% off
The only thing that is cheap with a halfords trade card is bulbs and wipers, side light and interior bulbs that are like £3.99 a pack are literally 40p with a trade card. Brillance bulbs that they flog for £20 each are like £5 each trade price. Bosch wipers £25, trade £9.

If you are doing work to brakes one of the best cheap tools is an impact driver, almost essential for getting those soft as jobby disc screws out.
Also another good cheap thing is a multimeter, always usefull.
@Indigolemon You can tell a Scotsman did this swear filter, jobby(e) is filtered but jobby isnt

I'd also add a calliper rewind tool to this. Makes life alot easier than trying to use a set of grips.
