Multiple Gen4 2.2 aftermarket/standard parts required!

Post by CrunchyAdams82 » Tue Mar 19, 2013 11:05 pm

Hello all,

I am after some parts for my 1994/L 2.2 uk spec project Lude. Hoping you guys have some of these parts knocking about. I require the following;

1. Red bumpers in good condition. Mine are acceptable, but have cracked/broken paintwork & require respraying. I would rather not have to do this.

2. JDM starter motor. I had a jap spec 2.2 about 10 years ago, and it had a metallic awesome sound every time I started it up which made me smile. The one I have currently sounds like poo.

3. 17" Alloys. I can only spend up to £200 on these, and they do have to look right; wheels are quite personal. But what you got?

4. Lowering springs. 30-40mm probably.

5. Decat Pipe & s/s branch manifold.

6. Square number plate mountings. These look better on the prelude imo.

7. Full set of mats in good condition.

8. Magnecor or similar ignition leads.

9. 2.2 Tachometer/Rev counter panel (Manual). Somebody fitted a 2.0L automatic version in my car - not overly helpful.

10. Cat-back system possibly! If it's worth having, I may be interested. My plan is to get a uprated branch manifold, decat pipe, and Powerflow system. I had a Powerflow backbox with 5" slash-cut tail on my last prelude, and it sounded incredible! If you have something equivalently appealing, let me know..

If you have any of these parts, or anything else exciting you think might interest me, please get in touch.

N.B. I don't know if there are any upgradable parts for my engine which will give me slightly better performance; such as throttle body, inlet manifold, coil pack (mine has a distributor), ECU, etc. If there are, please let me know as I will be interested.

Many Thanks.

Forgot to mention;

11. Red, rust-free sunroof. If there is such a thing.

Welcome to LG Crunchy! :Hello:

Have you looked in the 'Parts for Sale' section?
I know for a fact there was a JDM numberplate holder for sale, unless it's sold since yesterday.

It's worth noting that the JDM rear number plate surround WON'T fit into the UKDM boot recess. Well it will fit, but the mounting bolts are in a different place so you will have to get happy with a drill to make it fit properly.

Yes, this or swap the whole tailgate over.

Ok, thanks for that info - food for thought. Would it be tricky trying to drill the required holes then?
