Well if money isn't a problem, go for a drivetrain swap to RWD and a 3.0 V6 VTEC lump..

Ok money isnt an issue if its not silly amounts! even though RWD prelude would be awesome! But 5/6k spend out on the car isnt a bad figure for my self to be honest.

5/6K on a 'Lude is still a lot (in my opinion).. and I was only kidding really, but yes, a RWD Prelude would be great, I'm still surprised it came from Honda as FWD.

Ive actually been asked a few time's if my 5G is rear RWD. The size and style of the car, and even the length of the bonnet, kind of make's it "look" like it would be RWD. Sadly just have to make do with RWS :(

If money was no object to me (within reason), i really wouldn't be spunking £5/6k on a Prelude. Granted a few on here probably have done over a long period of time where its not as noticeable, but in 1 go near enough, no chance.

You'll probably end up a grand on those bits listed above, I've already been there.

Decent pistons are hard to come across used, better off buying new.

As for the ecu, you'll need an obd1 to obd2a (if you're on an a5 else obd2b) harness at least £70 for a decent one, an ecu to put the s300 in another £70, get a pro to put it in (like cpl tuning) another £80, plus the s300 is £380 the you gotta spend another £450 tuning it. Sadly it's not just a chip, but if you've got all that sorted and budgeted already then nice work ;)
