lol I only noticed that when putting it all back together. It had been in the gunk tank so forgot about it ;). It will be painted as I still need to put the seals on and all the head accesories.


And I am open to offers. I would like to see this stuff go.

Who knows dude. You have to want one in the first place, then have the cash to get it. My stuff here is comparable (or much cheaper in cases) to the bits on Ebay.

What would I need to do if I wanted to fit this IM to my PDE head? I'm still running the original Prelude IM with IAB's and 345cc injectors on my PDE head. I know I would need to use the ATR injectors with this IM as the Prelude injectors wont fit without machine work, and also a remap. But how do I swap to/from peak & hold type injectors? Do I remove the resistor pack & what about the wiring?

hey merlin, what are the power gains, roughly, if i use this head on my h22a?

and is the IM a straight swap on the wiring side of things ?

@h10ndr It will bolt right up. The 5th gen and ATR use the same injectors. For the 4th, if the injectors ahve the same connectors the swap should be simple. The Lude and ATR have different fuel rails. I would use the ATR fuel rail with the 4th gen injectors. Could the ATR wiring plug straight into the 4th gen wiring? If so that will be the easiest.You will also need to fit the obligatory IACV converter plate (available from Rosko Racing and a few other places, not expensive).

I haven't done this swap but it should be easy enough. As said the IM comes with all valves and wiring, as well as the ATR throttle body, fuel rail and injectors.


@lucas You wouldn't see more power over installing just ATR cams. But the ATR head reportedly has enlarged/ported intake runners, stiffer valve springs (to deal with the increased lift), spring type lost motion assemblies Vs the older P13 hydraulic plunger type. The PDE head was made with the intake side specifically suited to the PDE intake manifold, but the P13 IM will still fit. AND most importantly it has PDE stamped on it instead of P13 8-) :lol:
