Bought these off Nik_L, and there Alex's old coilovers. The threads ive spent around 12 hours on with a thread file (the 2 front ones) and they are now perfect. The 2 rears i give a quick going over, about an hour each. All completely free'd up and lovely.

A bit of elbow grease went a long way :) if they are all ok when on the car I'll be getting new adjusters for the rear as well and 4 new dust boots, maybe a lick of paint as well 8-)

I'd clean the rust off too and give them a lick of paint.

All in these coilovers owe me £190. The adjusters and new seals from tein I got at a bargain :) £80 all posted

Good work on them Lewis. A wee lick of paint will go a long way on them.

That's also good news that Tein sold you the seals. Alot of folk have tried and failed to get rebuild parts from them. Maybe they have seen sense and realised they could make some money rather than be refused to rebuild at the prices they charge.

I kind of regretted selling these tbh. I went to a spring and shock combo, and they are no where near as good as what these were.

I'll be replacing these eventually with d2 coilovers as id like some dampening adjustment.
