Would the TPS cause this?

Also I think I need to check the VAC lines as I don't think the butterflies are opening up

Have you tried holding the rpm at the point that it faults? Would make a good indication as to weather its the tps or not. But obviously a smashed sensor could confuse the jobby out of the ecu.

I've just tried that after a temp fix on the tps it worked fine put my foot down and hit vtec, setoff at a junction after and it spluttered and coughed and then missed at about 4k again :/

So I put it up on jacks took off the wheels and put them under the car and had a go in 2nd with no misfires or splutters

I'm thinking it could be fuel related as its only happening under load??

Mmmmm u got a good one there matey lol. I dont think it would be fuel delivery related as it only happens at that set rpm. That sounds realy like ignition/map related, maybe a cause of that sensor. You realy need to try another tps to illiminate that as a fault. Are you 100% as too all sensor plugs/wires are ok?? Its real odd that its not throwing a code!!! :? Also odd that it only does it under load!! HHmmmmm

Iv spoken to the turbo honda gods and they think its the 255lph fuel pump is the issue, hence the over fuelling :(

What LPH is the standard pump?

It really is a hard one :/ iv checked all the sensors and all seam fine checked vac lines, wiring the lot...

The TPS I have is still working iv taken off the plastic that was broken pushed the plug back on fixed it on and checked it with a multimeter all good.. Not that it couldn't still be it.

Im not sure on standard pump flow. Are you using the standard FPR?? I'm not sure that it could overfuel as the ecu and injectors controll the amount and flow rate of fuel into the engine and the fpr controll the pressure. The only thing the pump could do is fail at a certain pressure/demand which would cause loss of pressure for a moment.
