Just remember what ever it is, it's not a detectable issue by the ecu!! if you know what i mean otherwise it would of put a code up. :?

That could be another thing to look at. Coils can and do just fail without any warning what so ever. :x

Yeah but that's why I'm baffled :/ iv got plenty of oil, oil pressure, 200-210psi across the board on compression, iv checked as many sensors as I can thats what's leading me to the fuel

I'm on the standard FRP I no the ecu controls the fuel but I'm thinking it could be that with the fact when I take plugs out it stinks of fuel

How do I test the coil?

There should be a resistance check in the lude manual on the leads, The longer the lead, the more resistance ect. If we get a suspect HT lead failure we usualy just replace it with a donor for testing purpose. You could remove the coil in the dizzy and carefully check for any tracing. What i mean by that is black/brown sooty marks on the coil or around where the coil sits. We have had a few were the plastic body of the coil gets hairline cracks and it ends up shorting or arking to ground, causing a massive missfire. You would notice tracing if it was there. The fact it stinks of fuel could be because the ignition is going because of any of the above!?! Plus youd see white smoke if overfueling is present. If it came in at our place we would look at ign system first. :)

ok so give the fumes a sniff, a weak spark will of corse cause rich running. For the HT leads?? if i was getting some id go to a motorfactors matey. You can always use any old leads to test it with as long as they fit the ends and reach!!!Oh and the prelude manuals are available on here somewere lol
