Competition Stage1 Clutch question
Does it require the aftermarket slave clutch cylinder?
After I've changed the clutch from OEM to Stage1 I'm struggling to put into 1st and 3rd gear.
If it works fine without the aftermarket slave clutch cylinder, does it mean that my OEM cylinder is dying. The clutch pedal is a bit sticking as well.

Clutch fluid reservoir is full.Merlin wrote:Have you looked for leaking fluid in the drivers footwell and in the engine bay? Is the clutch fluid reservoir between the min and max levels?Ailfenergy wrote:Does it require the aftermarket slave clutch cylinder?
When was the last time your transmission fluid was changed?
Transmission fluid was changed together with clutch.
It was fitted in garage, so I guess they should know thatnewkid wrote:Did you use an alignment tool when fitting the clutch?

I took the car back to the garage. They didn't spot any leaks. I've only looked at slave cylinder. It doesn't leak.
To be honest I had this problem before the fitment of the new clutch, but I couldn't feel it that much. After replacing the clutch it became really hard to drive.

Could still be the clutch simply needs bled, entirely possibly they did all the work without splitting the lines.
