how do i change indicator stalks?

To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

both covers have to be removed and also the steering wheel if i remember correctly. then its 3 screrws that hold the stalks in place .

Indeed... remove steering wheel, remove upper and lower cowling, unplug a few harnesses, then unscrew the 3 or 4 screws holding it in and voila!

The 4ws sensor is attached to your stalks by a big circlip. Take the steering wheel off with the wheels straight, and put it back with the wheels straight and you'll be fine. Your issue will be how many screw's connect the cable reel behind to the stalks, you need that to match. Its either 4 or 3, check before you get new stalks.

I think they'll be the same, just without the sensor attached. Worth a look anyway.
