Driveshaft End Float

Hello,

I am trying to work out the driveshaft length for my K20 Lude but I am having trouble working out how much float the driveshafts require to work. Anybody got any data?

Are there not indents/grooves on the shaft where the boots fit - on H22 driveshafts there are

There might be, the civic type r hubs are Exactly the same as the lures, although I think the ABS grooves may differ in count. I was able to use the CTR shafts to work out how much they need extending but that was a compressed length, now I need to deduct an amount to account for end float. Either that or I try and find somebody local to borrow their CTR for 5 mins!!!

you can swap the abs rings over

Does anybody know how much end float there should be?
