My 4th gen was like that when I bought it, 4ws was not working andd it was like driving a jelly! I could physically move the rear wheels with my hands, I just binned the 4WS for those reasons and put a 2.0 subframe on instead.

Sounds like the bulb has been removed. Have you had the lude long? Check under the bonnet for a 60A fuse and look also for a 10amp fuse. It could be a break in the 4ws ecu also.

this has happened alot recently with new members

its been removed in the past to hide the fault, not good, not safe

remove the dash clocks replace the bulb, follow the reset guide on the forum

if unsure post a vid up of the 4ws bulb flashing

iv not had it long only a few days, the fuse for the 4ws is a red 40amp, but cant seem to remove it, as i was gona try another 1 in its place, is there a special too to remove them?

my misses ka did this, exelarate and it would pull one way, then lift off and it would go the other, the ka needed new lower wishbones (rubbers had gone soft). i wouldnt fancy having a dodgy 4ws, must be scarey :shock:

wrong connector, the 2pin plug not 3

i know that know after reading another similar post but with pics, will it jst be the radio an interiour light fuses that have blown? no not yet i neva had alot of time today, gona do it tomo, is it possible to swap a bulb over to test it? also is it easy to access the the bulbs, cheers.
