Big Service time
Got my lude (a8) booked in for an MOT on thursday (which may or may not be about 3 weeks late, oops)
Just about to roll over 75k, so getting a big service done including belts and water pump.
any other advice? it's not being done at a Honda garage, the guy is an awesome mechanic so i'm sure he'll know what needs to be done, but anything he might not know about? I'll definitely have a chat with him about the auto tensioner, but i'm not planning on doing the manual swap as i don't drive the car hard (not very often anyway) and there's no engine mods.

yeah, to be fair, at first i thought jobby, i've spent 800 quid! but considering the work, i think i've done pretty well and the car felt really good and tight driving home. he's a good mechanic and he's always looked after my cars really well, and the parts are always reasonably priced. i always knew it was going to be a big service, at least it's out the way now! happy prelude is a good prelude.
i assume they're the right plugs!!
only obvious thing that hasn't been touched is the tensioner....

They'll be coppers I'm guessing. Just changed mine and copper NGKs were £4 each off ebay. Iridium and plats come in about around £9-10.lewd lude lover wrote:you paid 20£ for 4x (four) spark plugswhere? were they the right ones? i always seem to pay that EACH
a happy honda is a happy driver. enjoy it, its worth it
