Rotational knocking on the S - CV Joints?

i understand that, but i thought it best to have both in the air. i think that in the honda atts service manual for atts it say we should never tow the car or bump start it either.

No Sam you were right. I failed epically. So epic im ashamed. I had the wheel off to roll the arch and never tightened the nuts.

Well iv got to pick my missus up from work at 3.30am as she works in a night club and i have a headoffice meeting at Chipsaway on Monday/Tuesday in Kidderminster and i want to use the car and hide and illegal lacquers i dont use from going in the van.

if your getting queeky noises from behind the wheel, i would have thought it was the bottom joints going dry due to a split boot and getting water ingress. if this is the case try and lube the joint with some oil or grease through the split. wipe all residue off completely with petrol/acetone or loctite 7063 cleaner. then cover the boot in silicone to prevent ingress of dirt and water, this split is now an mot fail even if the joint is good, but with silicone its a pass.
