Wow 7.5l. Of lacquer. Suppose if you drokk it up you can flat the drokk out of it without the worry of cutting through but seems a waste to me I would have thought half of that. Maybe paint has changed since my days in the booth. It is about twenty years I suppose

You can only get it in 1l, 5l or 7.5l quants.

7.5l is only about £6 more than 5l. and 4x1l tins costs even more.

Just out of interest, what paints are you guys using? I'm moving house soon and will respray some bits when I do, and was planning on using 2 pack paint as my mate did my Golf bonnet with it and it came out nice enough. Only problem is I've read that 2 pack paint will end me if I spray it at home, and I don't fancy spending over £100 on an oxygen fed mask just for a few panels.

2k with an oxygen fed mask and sealed suit.

Upol do a 1k clear coat that is iso free, though not sure if it is any safer.

I think Ratty uses a clear coat that does not contain iso's, but you'll never get some of it.

Yep. I've arranged the use of a booth for this due to my neighbours.

ISO cue the lacquer at room temp. Non ISO need longer back off. For smart repairs I use a non ISO lacquer but its excellent unlike some.
For my respray in a booth I'm using max Meyer 0300 and a slow hardener. That's an iso clear.

Paint I use I ppg aquabase +.

Don't usr celly paint. It's so old now campared to paints like ppg ans sikkins and DuPont chrome max.
