Approx estimation is between £500-600 for a single person

Obviously most of that is fuel and crossing which can be split with a passenger, bringin it down to around £300 each if there are 2 of you.

Then you would need spending money and a bit for back up (just in case). But i suppose it wouldn't be that bad if you split travelling costs I'm 90% sure I can do it but don't want to say definetly right now until I have the Money saved as I don't want to let any one down ;)

Well that did include food and accomodation cost, so the only extra expense really is lap tickets for the Ring which you can't expect a passenger to split ;)

I think the main point is that it's relatively short notice for people to have the money for what is effectively another holiday on top of what they already would've been doing this year with their family.

If this had been announced in August/September last year, I'd be going for definite.

I will go next year in my own car oh yes. 8-)

This year things are tight and I have a lot of stuff that needs to get done car wise before I'm happy with going on any great journey, plus I'm forced to go to Italy for another few weeks in July

Still, if everything goes right for the next 8 weeks I hope to be a passenger.

If I remember correctly, quite a few people said that they'd be up for if it had been organised for next year, which supports the theory in a way.
Time is running out now for those of us who are a bit skint. In our case, it might just mean that the right car won't be ready in time and we'll end up taking the ATR yet again to a Prelude meet.
