I've now fixed the leak
There are 2 rubber fuel lines that come from the fuel pump and down the bottom of the car, underneath the car the fuel lines are made from steel and are coated in a rubber cover to stop corrosion. Behind the passenger side wheel there's a section where the steel lines are not coated in rubber housing, but they have a plastic cover over them....but they are exposed to the elements. One of them on mine had corroded and was seeping fuel.
I went to my motor factors and purchased 1m of 8mm rubber fuel hose and 4 pipe jubilee clips. Even tho only one pipe was leaking, I decided to replace both as they were both heavily rusted.
I cut out the rusted fuel lines and fitted the new rubber ones.
Just been out for a drive and all is well. Cost of parts - £6, time to do it - 3 hours.
