Brake fluid question

Post by ADS1 » Sun Apr 14, 2013 9:33 pm

I have just fitted some hel stainless brake hoses. Any idea how much brake fluid it will take to bleed and refill the system?
Thanks.
Tony.

is the system completly empty? if not then a litre bottle should do all your work, depending on how much you want to flush out of the old brake fluid.

Well obviously lost some while changing the hoses, so pretty empty. And time for a complete flush out anyway.
I will order a couple of litres then, to be on the safe side
May as well do clutch while i'm at it.

IMO get 2 litres and then do your clutch fluid with any leftovers ;) Get a good Super DOT 4 brake fluid.
