great girls car or gay hairdressers car. looks lovely, sounds nice with a better zhorst but really is only good for cruising about in.

MIVEC comes in too late (6kiirc) and it likes the fuel for a 2l.

We really recently scrapped ours because it just was not worth it to break it on the drive.

They generally suffer from horrendous rust as they were only ever produced for the jap market in small numbers. its only because we started importing them that rallyart got the consession to sell new on grey import.

You have to pay to join the ftowners club......and guess what the busiest thread heading is?????

Yep, the ''Spotted'' section :?

IMHO dont bother. you can pick up a nice one for less than 700.

the triptonics SUCK BALLS ! to put it nicley !

if its the gpx model you have been offered then take it and break it ;)

I had the misfortune of paxxing in a v6 (non-mivec) around Castle Combe.

It really was a poor car- wayward handling/a very lazy v6 & just generally everything you wouldn't want in a track-car

It's a £350 car for goodness sake, and worth a third of that at the scrappers. So why all the negatives? It should be compared to other cars in the bracket. It's not a Lude competitor, but a darn sight better than a Saxo or a Rover 200 ...

How much tax and test? If it's not much more than £50 a month, you can use it while taking your time to find something that really fits the bill. Then just throw it away.

(Mind you, it will always look as if the front and back were designed by two different people who didn't talk to each other.)

^^^not a cheap car to run sailor. it will be 350 for a reason. generally it is that the underpan has rotted and they are unsafe.
