Hey guys!

Appreciate it won't be mega easy with the engine in, but I have my ways! This badboy helps out no end:

Bak-Jak - looks random, but saves the back no end and helps you get to the back/bottom of the engine bay with no effort.

I have the proportioning valve from a non ABS lude, I'm leaving the rear hard lines in place, but in the future I may redo these aswell and run a similar setup to Rich's (PA) with an inline adjustable proportioning valve.

As for 4WS, it has it at the moment, and will do for Japfest (I hope), but none working obviously with the ABS removal. Once the car is running I'll be going onto a whole host of other work, including the 2WS conversion - got a spare subframe and arms sitting in the garage. Plus a full polybush and other jobs.

I need to finish my next write-up update to let you know where I'm at now. Keep saying it, but not alot of writing.

Cheers,

Rob

turd! Ha!

It's a pretty nifty tool, seen a couple over the years on ebay and snapped this one up last year for about £20. They retailed at about £50 originally. They were made by some inventor in Cornwall that got some investment on Dragons Den back in like 2006, found this link:
http://www.redferret.net/?p=7682
It's height adjustable and the pad is angle adjustable too. Plus it all folds up flat and hangs on my wall out of the way.

Unfortunately the bak-jak site doesn't work so would assume the production stopped.

I think they're a great idea, helped my back issues no end and helps you get right into the engine bay area.

So sorry Phil and all, you'll have to hunt one down.
