Hi all,

Just went to fit some HID's to my 5th gen, and well i got stumped a bit when doing it. Dont particually want to be cutting anything up i dont need too... but how are the bulbs supported in ? :?

If you have the right bulbs they just fit in like the old bulbs, then you plug the other end into where the exisiting bulb was plugged into

H1's. it was a kit off Amazon, was reduced down t £15 from £70 a few months ago so i bought one. I dunno ive done a service on her today.... oil, plugs, leads, dizzy, dizzy cap and coolant so that will do for one day.

Aren't HID's fitted into standard lights illegal?

Pretty much if the car didn't come with them from factory

Yeah i might wait and get the smoked projection lights for the front.... im not assed if they go in or not tbh lol

You'll need a special adapter ring to replace the standard bulb holder (Ebay!).

But yeah; get RHD projectors instead.

Do it properly. The kit will more than likely be cack. There's a reason it was reduced to £15.
