I'm running nuspeed arb's & a small amount of front & rear toe out. Rsr's & r888's seem to go off after a few laps & the side walls aren't stiff enough on the front. They are fine on the rear but a048's rule on the front imo 8-)

Also I think your front traction bar will cause more understeer without any upgrades on the rear

Just curious but what sort of tyre pressures do you run on a track lude ? We run 26psi on the escorts for a tarmac rally and from cold to end of first stage depending on the weather they can rise to as much as 38psi.. then we let them back down to 26 again.

Jon, I got my arb's 2nd hand.

Also the A048's allow you to run lower
pressures. I run 26psi as well on track.

When i checked my tyres a few days before i had 32psi all round which i suppose could be a bit high for track . When i was there after the second session on track i borrowed someones gauge and apparently i had 18 in the backs and 24 and 25 in the front which im sure wasnt right . I checked them once i was home and my gauge read 32 all round .

Get yourself a £10 digital pressure guage, I find it an essential piece of kit for the track. IMO you cant trust garage air machines as you dont know how well calibrated they are, a different garage pump will give a different reading, plus your own guage will give constant/comparable readings.

Digital pressure guage + cheap cigarette socket powered pump = track day win!

That is a very good idea .
Would halfords ones do or can you reccomend any.
I have my own compressor at home which i use but the gauge on the tyre pump part could be wrong as it is quite old now .
