Whats next?

Post by 99shsa » Wed May 08, 2013 6:06 pm

This is a quick question and only interested to see other peoples opinions, but, what's next? We had all the body kits, the neons in the footwells, how much of Halfords can you fit in your boot, 20" rims on a nova 1 ltr. What does everybody think is the next step in car enthusiasm and trends?

Don't forget the new fast and furious is out soon, so depends on what their driving I suppose ;)

Well at the moment it seems to be all VIP or broken suspension look stuff.

Seeing an increasing number of daily drivers (in the US & Aus anyway) that seem to be going for the hi-spec track look though. TBH I don't see the point in having bumper canards and a 'drokk you I'm an albatross' wing on a car you're gonna go to the supermarket in.

Depends how old you are!!

Ages 12 - 25 = eBay F&F bodykit with huge ironing board spoiler.
Ages 25 - 40 = carbon everything, all toys stripped out but never to see the track.
Ages 40+ = Subtle mods, tasteful lip/side skirts. Mostly OEM. Regularly serviced!!
