Door motor mechanism

Post by KeithB » Sun Feb 19, 2012 7:53 pm

Is this a common fault?
Motor seems sluggish and glass moves about a bit suggesting a fkd mechanism

Just need to grease up the mechanism a bit, should improve speed I would say. I need to do the same.

Had this on mine - I used some silicone spray on the runners at the side of the glass as this was easier to do than putting a new mechanism in or refurbing the one in there already. Try that first and see how you get on.
