I have a whole twin exhaust system from the cat that needs doing... Might need a bigger pad
Incidentally what can be used to bring out a good finish on the back boxes? I got the whole system of an Accord at the local breakers so needless to say they're speckled with rust. Not a bad day's bargain hunting though, my 25 quid powerflow exhaust
Shiny: Obviously a DA polisher is a godsend and even cutting pastes from a good polishing kit - tis what I used for my manifold heatshield. But obviously a few more £££. This was more of a ghetto option, just the wire wheel and autosol (assuming people have a drill or dremel). Considering most of the exhaust is unseen, it's just a quick tidy up. For seen parts like the back box and top of manifold, yours option is best. Well others would argue a ceramic coating or heat wrap would be the best option for the mani!
i am going to need to have a bash at this when the mugen gets sold. I will be having a go with the sand blaster after a good soak in some deruster. the chrome bits will be a challenge of time as per usual. you have done a lovely job on that though. very nice
i was attacking ATR calipers with a wire brush earlier.
