To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

I have JDM EL clocks, the K on KM/H has been covered with what looks to be a little piece of black tape. Checked speedo with GPS speedo app on my phone and it's bang on.

VTEC in first might be nice.. ido you think it is likely to be a mission to find, remove and relocate the convertor to the correct position?

Ok thanks mate, and if I find it what do I do with it then? Cut it out and reattach the wires then remove my clocks and fit it in there somewhere? Sorry, I haven't had any experience with fitting these convertors at all.

Sorry gents, no idea. I've always used UKDM clocks + a spoon chip to save farting about.

Does anyone know if the signal sent from the VSS to the ECU is the same as the signal sent from the ECU to the speedo? Just trying to think of a work around :-?

Yes, I believe the ECU simply reads it and passes it on.

What's stopping us from splitting the signal from the VSS then running one directly to the ecu and the other to the speedo via a converter?

Edit. You would still have 112 mph limiter.

Not with a spoon chip fitted.
