loving the lude today

it started first time, as always.

i got three kids shout out and wave in admiration as i pulled out of a junction. no i had not just caught their puppy in my bumper.

i dropped second on a narrow lane i know with the windows open and brick walls close in either side and the twin loop sang.

i got home and looked back as i got to the frontdoor and smiled.

Its great having those moments where you fall in love with your Prelude all over again. I had one driving back from the track last weekend .

I know the feeling Had someone come up to me in the shop yesterday as I was in the line asking if the silver Prelude was mine, and how nice she is.

One of the things we mentioned was how modern the cars look, and they really dont make them like they used to with the long low bonnet (one of the bodyshops I went to pointed out how you dont see such large bonnets anymore!).

For all the little problems they may have at this age, you just cant stop loving them
