Post by gup160 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:00 pm

was ment to ask earlier. theres about half an inch of play in my lefthand front wheel, when i rock it back an forth, any1 had a similar problem? cause my steering is all over the place. im thinking cv joint, balljoints? hoping its not the steering rack, cause not really wanting to fork out to replace it.

also to add wen im giving the lude death in first it grips an throws the car all over the place. have to hold sterring firmly to keep control, i was gona get 4 wheel alignment done tomo, but dont see the point till everythin else is rectified, an the cars running sweet.

Is it left/right wobble or up/down wobble?

up down wobble, im sure that must be wats causing all the dodgy steering Characteristics. iv already replaced front break pads cause 1 side was worn right down, an pretty much stuck to the caliper.
