JDM and UKDM body panels the same?

Post by ek_dave » Fri May 17, 2013 4:30 pm

I was looking for some help regards a bad repair i have had previously done on my car. i plan on sorting it right htis time but my question is:

A couple of the panels don't fit just 100% and i was hoping it was just a shitty bodyshop i got to do it rather than UKDM panels on my JDM car.

Am i correct in thinking all prelude panels be it UK or Japan will be interchangeable.

thanks

All ludes were made in Japan man, in the same place. So yes, very much interchangeable.

well your almost right there Craig - 4th Gen JDM BB4 doors are lighter as they have a u shaped section as the main brace and the ukdm doors have a round bar as the brace - im guessing but the ukdm doors are heavier due to this but id rather have a door with a round bar brace for any side impact :)
