Nice, nothing like a mod that could pass as OEM

Very cool mod, you should try to make a how to for it.

I think I'd just add my satnav so I still have one vent

Cheers for the comments guys.

The satnav is a Garmin so you don't need a button to power it on and off. It also powers on and off when the ignition is turned on and off.

To be honest, i never use the dash vents really in any of my cars. In the winter i always have the heat coming up the windscreen to de-mist it and it warms the whole car at the same time. In the summer, i have the windows/sunroof open.

You wouldn't be able to do it with just 1 vent unfortunately due to the the vent setup and dimentions of the screens.

Whenever i do mods like this i always look back and think "damn, i should have done a how to" but once i get started on something, i crack away at it until it's done. really should stop and take pics.

Basically, you chop out everything leaving a large rectangular hole then position the 2 screens where you want them. The centre pillar for the vents was carefully cut away so it could be re-set in the middle of the 2 screens. A bit of car bodge and re-paint and viola.
