Power steering belt
Power steering belt
Hi, I'm after a bit if advice please. I just bought 2000 2.2 plelude vti red top n just when arriving home my power steering became heavy, I realised a belt had come off n was badly worn. I've ordered a new belt from a supplier but I'm just wondering will this have caused and issues? And also does the belt have an automtic tensioner or is it manually done and is it simple? Any help would be great thanx.

it wont have caused any issues buddy i would be more worried about why it failed and if the cambelt was going the same way its an easy job to replace the power steering belt
