Coil springs & ARB
I have a couple of advisories which need to be sorted before the MOT next month..
so I'm currently rummaging around the net for a pair of front coil springs and a rear anti roll bar for a 2.3i 4ws..
Question is - where's the best place to get them and how much should I expect to pay?
ebay is full of lowering springs - but I don't want my insurance company to empty my wallet for me once I've fitted them, so all I'm really after is some sensibly priced standard height springs that won't put me in a hedge on the first corner I take..
Same with the ARB, I noticed that JayJay bought one from the US for around £119 (plus the extreme p&p!) - is this the kind of price I'm looking at for an ARB?
Any help on this would be great!
Cheers guys

you would be surprised at what mods will raise your insurance. they say any aftermarket part fitted to your car is a mod. if anything on your car needs fixing and you fit anything other than the same part this can be considered an upgrade or mod to the orignal. so lowering springs alter the cars handling and thus can cause you to have an accident if found on car= void insurance, goes for alloy wheels etc and anything that makes the car more desireable to thiefs.

Re: Coil springs & ARB
I guess id better declare my lowered suspension to my insurance - so far they havent changed the premium when i declared bodykit and wheels-fingers crossed!
Doug i do have a full set of Honda OEM springs in top condition if your after stock ride height and oem quality.
I was going to fit them to my lude but got a set of Konis and decided after 12 years on the stock springs that id try something else.
I can get some pics posted up if u like.

It was £170 with the P&P! I was just looking around, there's actually a place in the UK that sells them for just under £170 delivered.
It was http://www.europerformance.co.uk/ I'll be getting the ARB end of this month. Whiteline are supposed to be brilliant by the way, it's not a budget thing so don't be worried about them

None available that I can find on ebay, and prices range wildly elsewhere..
Problem is, I don't know an anti roll bar from a hat-stand, let alone the differences between a happy shopper one that will put me on my roof, and a performance one..
In an ideal world, I would have the performance one in a heartbeat, but funds prevent it at the moment unfortunately!
I have to sort out some coil springs and a couple of other odds & sods as well with about the same kind of money as you just paid for your ARB.. ;violin

Stick a post in wanted man, if someone has an oem replacement from a car they are breaking that might be your best bet.
