Isn't that standard figures.
Yeah near enough standard figures but I'm surprised to see so many left, would've thought it had lost a few more than that over the years. ;) Was more the comparison against the modded BB4 than anything that made me say not bad though.

I think it is fair to say that the resonator is designed with everyday driving in mind. A best of both worlds if you like?

But that very fact means it is compromised. If you are looking at releasing the full performance potential of the car then i think it is best removed. It just happens to sound great if you do

If outright performance is not your goal, then i would recommend that it stays in place 8-)

Well mines is coming out, only for the fact it's more of the car and a bit tidier looking, that's all.

After careful deliberation, I decided to keep the resonator fitted.

Did that include taking it off so you have a comparison or just deciding not to try?

No, just by reading various posts on the internet. I would like to keep my car's low down torque even if that means a high end power sacrifice. Coincidently, I did remove the front bumper and wheel arch plastic while applying underseal and saw the resonator and its valve. I sprayed some white grease on it and made sure it was moving freely.

 so you had already done all the hard work but didn't give it a try?

Ah well. Thats a real shame you didn't even have a drive round the block to see how YOU felt about it, rather than how the internet feels. Fair enough.

Lol, you are a funny one yet your grasp of the point is slippery at best. Here, let me explain it to you.
I couldn't give a monkies about what people do, or do not do, to their cars. But to not try some thing based on internet babble when you have done all the work to get at the thing seems a shame somehow. Now Carrisma will never know for himself will he.

But thanks for chiming in eh? ;)
