His is an a7 isn't it? So crank would be a different size. Plus sounds like somethings pretty chewed up somewhere.

Plenty around though so you shouldn't have a problem getting one. Appreciate what you mean about the crank size now. :wink:

I'd offer mine, but keeping it for a rainy day to build, offered to Ste so he didn't sell up that's all. :?

Any jdm h22a to be honest as that's what's in the car at the mo so there would be less compatibility issues :smile:

I think I have a jdm h22 with lower comp on 1 piston. The engine was boosted and has seen lots of nos so assuming the rings have gone.

I'm pulling it apart shortly to see how bad things are if ur interested, iirc you just wanted one for sleeving?
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock :whistle:

drop a liitle light oil down the bore and then recheck if its the rings it will raise the compression that way you wont have to split it and let the reliability fairies out
