Re: help me find a family car!
LO
I would pick an EVO ahead of a scooby every time
RX8's are cheap but for a reason
, OK if you have deep pockets for fuel and oil
now if they had a 350z lump in them
I would love a brand new Accord Type S Tourer
prob not fast enough for you
Cheers

Having had a RenaultSport Clio 182 from new (54 reg), looked after it like a baby, warmed it properly, used v-power and serviced it properly, I can honestly say I wouldn't risk one of the Renault's. They're wonderful to drive, but in 4 years/42k.... Respray due to failing paint, airbag fault, catalytic converter problems, Gearbox lunched itself, numerous sensors and loads of other stuff. Based on google, I'm not convinced I was alone.
We've had the RX-8 thread - great drive, but again, even if you change the oil every 20 minutes and always warm it through after starting it'll need re-engining at 60k probably.
I reckon the Mazda MPS is a good shout, too. If not too discreet for you.
Can't think of anything else you haven't said. Sorry. BMW/Audi or Scooby.
(I'm told Evo's tend to be fragile if you drive them really hard, but I don't know for sure).
Good luck.
