sounds to me like a dripping injector, and its actually a misfire under load. i had an accord and driving normally it would be fine but when accelerating even just slightly i would get the same judder that you describe. do you know any mot stations by you? perhaps just put it on the emissions meter to see if there is excessive readings. auto or manual?

good being a manual, rule out any vibrations from the autobox then. try another set of second hand known working injectors. im not saying this is the fault, but it what i found on my accord.

When was it last serviced? Could be a multitude of different things. Could even be just a partially blocked fuel filter.

well ive only owned it for about a month, so im not exactly sure. it doesn't have a great stamp history but the guy I bought it from was a mechanic? im not sure is the answer. what is my best course of action? do I do sum checks or just take it into a garage?

I'd start with a service and go from there, even if it doesn't solve the issue, it will give you piece of mind.

If you can get the emissions checked, it may uncover something too.
