That's great @vtecmec, can you tell me how long that piece of steel is though please? I don't know how far to try and compress the thing for installation..

Just got measurement. 60mm internal with a slot 12mm to go around the adjusting nut. Pics to follow shortly

I made my own by bending a metal strip, was a right ball ache as it kept popping off

I had the same issue at first because it's chamfered at the bottom, so I bent two little hooks on the bottom part to dig into the tensioner slightly, which worked nicely, I also cut a slot in the top so that it held the tensioner down either side of the stopper, but when on the car left room in the middle so as to not have too much friction against the adjuster. I have the bracket that HH shows above, but once on the car could not get the bracket off because of the friction between the tensioner and the adjusting bracket.
