ATTS weights around 20kg incl the ECU and looms.
I think it saps a couple % of power too. Nothing noticable.

But good look making an adapter plate over ATTS.

Preludepower it.

Back on topic: is it literally a blanking plate, or are there connections etc that need to be ...well...connected?

fourwheelqueer. Yes. very apt. Shitty system in comparisson but then what would I know, I'v only owned both to be able to make judgement based on experience and empirical study.
I envy Bennyboy, or anyone to be able to make the same judgements based on his 'feelings' or 'what the internet says'. It must be great to feel so right without any evidence. Sounds like religion to me.
