Forged h22

Post by ddoubledanny » Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:41 pm

Could any one help me on the list of parts you would need to forge a h22 I'm no mechanic lol but I know some parts I would need ie
1. A h22 block
2. Some sort of pistons
3. Rods
:? :? :? Now I'm confused

Probably sleeves unless you are using mahle gold series pistons and Acl race bearings whilst you are at it.

Oh and some ARP rod bolts. But they will probably come with the rods.

As above. Forged pistons. Mahles to work with the H22 FRM linnings.
Or any other with a sleeved block.
Forged eagle rods.
Lighter valve train.

arp head studs and main engine studs decent conrods ie eagle rods either forged piston and darton sleeves or mahle gold series pistons.
It all depends what you are looking for from the engine its a huge minefield as different pistons will give you different c/r ratio which will obviously affect your engine power or whether you can use it n/a or F/I

Honestly 325hp - 400hp would be good realistically tho it would be on a boost controller so I could adjust for different occasions :)
