I have tried both on and off.

Carrisma, take it off and try it. It sounds much better and really nice through out the rev range and not just the top-end. And regarding the MPG, it was no different. Maybe it was 0.01mpg better with the resonator box. lol.

Newkid, I think your medicine is having effects? :?

I would of left it in that situation too if you have looked at the pros and cons and decided against it even if he had taken it all off its only really half the work as he would have to do the same amount of work again to refit it
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

Mine's an everyday smoker, so I'd have left it there too.

The car's still pretty quick if you rag it and if you wanna go properly fast in a straight line there's always a 335i or something tedious like that.

Mine's not connected, I've removed it on both Honda's I have which have these active resonator things. In all honesty my arse senses detected no difference in how the car drove around town, I never found myself thinking 'oh jobby if only I had more torque!' :? the noise is orgasmic though  so even though their is a drop in torque I didn't find it noticeable.

Each to their own though, we all own our own cars and can do what we like with them :)

It takes 30 mins (if all the bolts/clips/nuts comes off easily)

In my UKDM car, the underlip shield thing the nuts were rusted so took longer and took more then 1 hour. In my Sir (the written off car), it look less then 30 mins as everything came of easily.
